VerdiFLX B50A runs on the injection moulding equipment you already use. Same moulds. Same cycle times. Significantly higher impact strength than virgin PP. 50% post-consumer recycled content from waste nobody else can process.
VerdiFLX B50A is a drop-in replacement for virgin injection-grade PP. Your existing Tier 1 supplier can start moulding parts in 2-3 weeks, with no tooling changes.
From aesthetic to performance, soft-touch finishes, UV-resistant. Zero degradation across 10+ recycling cycles.
Thermally stable. Excellent impact strength holds through vibration and heat cycling without fracturing.
Dimensional stability. Good melt flow ensures consistent fill on complex thin-wall geometries.
India builds 20M two-wheelers a year. None have audit-ready recycled content at volume. Popular brands in active material exploration with us.
VerdiFLX B50A is 50% post-consumer recycled content from metallised multilayer plastic. Extracted at 120°C via our patented VerdiCycle process. Compounded and tested at our in-house NABL-certified lab.

Toggle between comparisons. Virgin PP on performance. Commercial rPP on the market reality.
Charpy impact strength comparison (ISO 179, notched, 23°C). Specific values available on TDS request.
| Property | Virgin PP (homopolymer) | VerdiFLX B50A | Advantage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Charpy Impact Strength | Industry baseline | Significantly higher | Far superior impact resistance |
| Melt Flow Index | Standard injection range | Within optimised range | Tuned for complex moulds |
| Tensile Modulus | Standard | Comparable to PP copolymer | No stiffness trade-off |
| Thermal Stability | Industry baseline | Equivalent | Equivalent |
| Recyclability Cycles | Limited cycles before degradation | Significantly more | Longer lifecycle |
| Carbon Footprint | Industry baseline | Significantly lower | Major emissions reduction |
| Recycled Content | 0% | 50% PCR | Meets EU ELV mandate |
| Traceability | None | Physical, batch-level | EU CSDDD audit-ready |
The headline: VerdiFLX B50A doesn't match virgin PP on impact strength. It beats it. Significantly higher notched Charpy impact means parts survive the drop tests, thermal shocks, and vibration cycles that cause virgin PP warranty failures. Specific values available on TDS request.
| Metric | Typical Commercial rPP | VerdiFLX B50A |
|---|---|---|
| Feedstock | Single-layer PP film, PCR bottles, industrial scrap | Metallised MLP - previously unrecyclable |
| Accounting method | Mostly mass balance (ISCC+) | Physical traceability, batch-level |
| Charpy Impact (Notched) | Comparable to virgin PP homopolymer | Significantly higher |
| Batch-to-batch variance | High | Tight, NABL-certified |
| Recyclability | Limited cycles before degradation | 10+ cycles validated |
| Virgin blending required? | Yes - typically required to hit auto spec | No. Meets spec unblended. |
| Typical end-use | Wheel arch liners, battery trays, underbody shields | Structural + visible interior + under-bonnet |
| Brand story | "Contains recycled content" | "Made from chip packets. Here's the factory." |
The real gap: Commercial rPP solves the compliance box but fails on property performance for visible or structural parts. VerdiFLX B50A meets automotive spec on its own - from a feedstock currently being burned in cement kilns. EU CSDDD and the EU Green Claims Directive are tightening the screws on mass balance claims. Physical traceability is becoming the new minimum.
In 2024, Volvo CampX selected Without® for a proof-of-value programme to evaluate VerdiFLX for automotive interior and structural applications. Volvo's protocol runs three loops: material characterisation, moulding trials, and in-vehicle performance testing.
Volvo doesn't use marketing language like "sustainable." They use testing protocols, failure modes, and reliability data. VerdiFLX passed their rigour. We're ready to run the same protocol in your R&D lab, on your parts, with your Tier 1.
EU ELV mandates 25% recycled content in new vehicles by 2030. Supply is 94% short. VerdiFLX B50A is validated, certified, and ready. The OEMs locking in supply agreements now get priority allocation when the commercial plant comes online.
